The stereotactic radiosurgery facility on your hospital's campus will benefit your Medical Center in several key areas:

All stereotactic radiosurgery procedures require a series of appropriate diagnostic images both pre- and post-treatment. This increase in referrals (i.e. CT, MRI, PET, Angiography, etc.) will increase the revenue stream to that department in your hospital.
Patients who are not qualified for SRS treatment may be referred for radiation therapy and other cancer treatments within your hospital system.

Prior to treatment, Cyberknife patients with soft tumors require fiducials to be inserted for tumor mapping. This is an outpatient procedure often performed by interventional radiologists and would likely take place in your hospital outpatient department.
