Cindy Winker
Executive Vice President of Operations

For more than 30 years, Cindy Winker has served in executive positions across a range of healthcare services that includes clinical leadership as well as HMO and ambulatory surgery center development and management. After 9 years in nursing services, Cindy spent the next 10 years of her career in the start up and subsequent management of an IPA model HMO with John Deere Healthcare. For the last 17 years she has managed and operated ambulatory surgery centers in partnership with physicians. From 1993 to 2005, Cindy served as Vice-President, Business Development and Operations with AmSurg Corp as that company grew from 4 surgery centers to 140 and moved from a privately held to a publically traded enterprise. From 2005 until 2009, she served as Chief Operating Officer for Bariatric Partners, a start up ASC venture partnering with surgeons to establish Ambulatory Surgery Centers. Her career has focused on successful operations management and strategic leadership of entrepreneurial health care ventures, and has been based on establishing long term and effective partnerships with physicians. Cindy completed her BS from Baylor University, MS from Northern Illinois University, and PhD from the University of Tennessee.
