Dave Killean
Regional Vice President of Operations

Dave Killean comes from an ambulatory surgery center background with a focus in Operations, including financial and marketing analysis, project management, physician recruitment, due diligence work as well as strategic planning and implementation. His career started with AmSurg in 1998 overseeing the billing operations of 12 practice based-single specialty, freestanding ambulatory surgery centers. In 1999, Mr. Killean moved into a Director of Operations role in which he oversaw the entire operations of a territory of 12 ASCs with approximately $20 million in net revenues. Mr. Killean expanded his ASC experience into the multi-specialty arena when he joined Symbion Corporation in 2005 as Regional Vice President Operations, overseeing a territory of 5 multi-specialty and 2 single-specialty ASCs with $39 million in net revenues and 40,000 annually in case volume. During his tenure at Symbion, he served as the Board Chairperson for all 7 partnerships. Mr. Killean is a graduate from Bowling Green State University (Ohio) and has a Dual Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Healthcare Administration from Xavier University. Mr. Killean was a co-founder and founding Board member of Leadership Healthcare in Nashville, Tennessee, which has grown to over 400 members.
