Susan Pieper has an extensive background in the development, acquisition, and management of outpatient facilities. With over 20 years experience in the healthcare industry, she has held a variety of executive positions most recently serving as Chief Development Officer of NeoSpine, from 2002-2006, where she was responsible for the development of nine outpatient spine surgery centers in partnership with neurosurgeons and hospitals. Prior to NeoSpine, Susan served as Chief Operating Officer of Chesapeake Eye Care and Laser Center in Annapolis, Maryland. Additionally, Susan spent 13 years in management at HealthSouth Corporation. As Vice President of Corporate Development, she was responsible for acquisitions and partnership development for surgery, imaging, and rehabilitation centers. Her overall responsibilities included physician recruitment, partnership formation, facility design and development. Prior to that, Susan served as Regional Vice President of Operations for HealthSouth and was responsible for managing over 40 rehabilitation centers in the western United States.
